I've started my new self-portrait and am pleased so far. Still, of course, work needs to be done.
(NOTE : This self-portrait was completed in New York in 1979, as written on the back of the canvas. Later in 1999 in Albuquerque, highlights were added to the back of head, shoulder and collar. The front of the painting was then dated with these added highlights.)
