......Once that is done, I've got a in mind a new work, a new painting. Either Thursday or Friday morning, walking up the steps from the subway turnstile at Grand Central with a herd of other people, in the small hallway there we passed through were several homeless laying there in blankets, on newspapers or cardboard. The visual affect and contrast struck me. Incredible.
